Hi Pedro,

Thanks for getting that point across. You were right on.

The quackiness comes with the tech culture.

Water guns and tye dye is what you get in the quacky bay area.

The original bubble was all about Ferraris, insane parties with real bands and skyrocketing IPOs day after day.

May the day never come that having fun is part of a bubble. :)

I hear ya Jane.

Though the original burst wasn't that long ago and hopefully we all still remember it. I know I do.

Unfortunately what we remember from the last time were the scooters and the ultra-relaxed atmospheres in start-ups. That atmosphere isn't what caused the downfall, there were more underlying things...like say...tons of VC money being tossed to chase garbage. There's a lot of that going on right now too, and that's what scares me to no end. The water guns and tie-dyes...not so much. But I see how that can induce tech bubble burst flashbacks. I admit they do that to me too sometimes.

Water guns and tie dyes? Do I smell another tech bubble bursting? Put down the greased watermelon and get a grip. Seriously.
